El Quseir, known as the White Port, was the end of the desert route
that belonged to the Wadi Hammamat during the war in the
Ptolemanic period. This led from the Nile Valley to the Red Sea. From
here Sultan Selim called for a pilgrimage to Mecca.
El Quseir has a beautiful old town with narrow streets, many small
shops with a certain Bedouin character.
We pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam with a private car to
take you to the city of El Quseir where you can discover the history of
a very ancient city. We visit an old mosque and the Santa Maria church.
Afterwards we experience the rich culture with a walk on the main
street, which invites you to shop. Here you can find some bargains.
Afterwards we relax with a soft drink on the beach coffee and enjoy
the sun and the sea. Afterwards we go to a local restaurant for lunch.
At the end of the excursion we take her back to her hotel in Marsa
Alam.
