Cairo One Day

In the early morning around 2 a.m. we will pick you up at your hotel. In the air-conditioned minibus you can enjoy the drive along the coast and through the desert and get some sleep safely. After a break for breakfast, the journey continues and as you drive through the mighty city gate of Cairo you will get a first impression of the vastness and size of the metropolis of Cairo.

The drive through the city on the Nile offers you many impressions of the old and new architecture. We reach Giza. Here you can experience the fascination of the pyramids on the Giza plateau and the valley of the 20 m high Sphinx: The Giza pyramids are one of the most famous world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It remains an unforgettable moment when you stand in front of the huge pyramids that were built 4,500 years ago. The pharaohs Chephren, Cheops and Mykerinos created a wonder of the world.

Strengthened and rested, the Egyptian Museum awaits you with exhibitions of the unique cultural history of Egypt with the impressive treasures and statues of antiquity. Optionally, we recommend a visit to the special exhibition of the famous pharaoh Tut-anch-Amun, whose burial chamber has been faithfully reconstructed.

The day trip to Cairo offers you fascinating impressions on the city tour past historical mosques and the “Old Cairo” with its impressive monuments.

Experience and enjoy the oriental flair at the famous Khan-el-Khalili Bazar as your highlight at the end of the day trip to Cairo by bus. The hustle and bustle of the dealers invites you to stroll, shop and drink tea in friendly conversation.

Enjoy the nightly return journey in an air-conditioned bus back to your holiday hotel. Arrival around 11 p.m.
